Pamela shares wonderful news about health battle

THIS. IS. GONE!! So, I went to get my biopsy yesterday. The doctor ran a scan before the procedure to “check the spread,” but guess what!! There was NO spread. It had SHRUNK to almost nothing! This new mass was infection from pneumonia, not cancer. *❤️‍🩹

I was on the table, prepped, hooked to IV, about to get sedation and ready for the procedure, when the doctor came in and said there was no biopsy necessary. He, himself, was very surprised. He said, “NO CANCER.” 😳

Crying grateful tears and calling for my husband, I walked off the table, got dressed and left. We had the most beautiful breakfast together. We just stared at each other with tears in our eyes and a stupid grin on our faces. Then I went home with the most grateful heart ever.

Three highly respected doctors told me this was bad:

1. “I’m sorry to tell you, this is the kind that comes back over and over.”

2. “I’m sorry, Sweetie, but this mass looks to be what we call “hot,” which means active & fast growing.” We then discussed next steps of radiation (would do) or surgery (not).

3. “There’s a small chance this could be inflammation, but highly doubtful. “

It grew so large, so fast. I was beginning to give up. I decided there were some things I would not do. No more surgery, no chemo. Radiation, I would do, it did cure my windpipe. ☢️

I found godpawrents for my dogs. (THANK YOU, GODPAWRENTS!), I met the funeral home and arranged pre planning (complete with a plan for visitation from my dogs), and I began driving my attorney crazy again with last minute will changes. I was ready to accept this. But I’m ok. By the grace of God, it’s a miracle. 😭
